optimism and courage
A clip from yesterday’s newspaper (about the stock market) pasted onto mostly found papers. I found a piece of wood veneer that looked like a cartoon character; I just darkened what looked like the facial detail.
I’ve got a basic idea for what I’m going to write for NaNo, as well as a list of characters I hope to incorporate. I can’t remember the last time I spent hours and hours writing something, unless it was some research paper I did in college. It’s a bit of a scary proposition, but I’m looking forward to it. Today, though, I’ve got to get into “home-repair mode”, as our “first freeze date” is rapidly approaching, and I don’t want to be freezing my fingers off inside while typing my novel.
EARLY VOTING STARTS MONDAY IN TEXAS!
See you at the polls.
